Neill Corporation Cause and Values

At Neill Corporation we understand that our business is not just about looking beautiful, it’s about living beautifully.  As a company, we strive to grow in a way that not only has less impact on the Earth and it’s people, but in a way that actually creates a positive impact wherever we can.  Our environmental mission feeds through everything that we do, at our home in Hammond and within our projects around the world.

To find out more about all that we’ve been doing environmentally, please read our 2009 Neill Corporation Sustainability Report

For the last five years, we have been working with ethnobotanist Tasha Goldberg, on a number of environmental initiatives both internally and externally.

Tasha Goldberg
Environmental Consultant

Tasha Goldberg is founder of Sustainable Solutions—an organization that provides consulting services to implement strategies, tools and events to help strengthen business relationships between people and the environment; Tasha has been working with Neill since 2004.

Tasha leads many projects for Neill Corporation, including working with each business unit to reduce their waste stream and setting up numerous tools to help reduce the company’s environmental footprint including the event planning guide, sustainable score kit and Neill Corporation’s first ever sustainability report, completed in 2009.

Tasha’s biggest project with Neill though, is her work with Etopa in the creation and successful implementation of a highly-innovative positive impact program called Building Bridges.  Taking place in Hainan, China, Building Bridges involves the creation of best practices for engaging with indigenous supply chain partners in and around the local region.  The development of carbon sinking along with the installation of Biogas units in farming villages means that the local community now has access to free, clean, renewable energy in the form of methane.  Through its work with Tasha, Neill Corp. has been able to infuse its existing business values with more sustainable values while developing a transparent supply chain.
